I had an amazing evening celebrating with my colleagues! The private dining room was perfect for our festive get-together, and the food was simply amazing—every steak cooked to perfection and served right on time. Adrian was a standout, looking after us all with warmth and professionalism, which just made the night even better. I'll definitely be back.
San Carlo Liverpool offers a refined dining experience with lovely vibes, friendly staff, and great service that makes you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The food was a highlight — Carbonara was creamy and perfectly balanced, the lobster ravioli was delicious and truly unique, the lobster tagliatelle was rich and flavorful, and the risotto with mushroom and truffle was absolutely top-notch. However, there were two small disappointments. Despite noting in the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, the restaurant did not acknowledge the occasion. Additionally, there was no tiramisu available on the menu, which was a letdown for such a classic Italian spot. Overall, still a wonderful dining experience with excellent dishes, but with a little more attention to special occasions, it could easily be a 5-star visit.
Absolutely love San Carlo in Liverpool. It is by far one the best Italian restaurants there is in my opinion. Can't wait to come back again. Love it!
First visit to San Carlo in a little over 6 years, and it's just as good as it used to be! Starters of duck ragu and lobster ravioli (not pictured) halibut for main (also not pictured) and pumpkin cream orzo risotto with sausage and truffle for my main. Peas with bacon and fries zucchini as sides, with a piece of almond and hazelnut cake for dessert. Beautiful
We had a lovely evening! The food was top-notch, and the drinks were just as good. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, while the atmosphere really added to the experience. Honestly, this place is definitely in my top three Italian restaurants, and I can't wait to come back. Also, how about opening one in Dublin? I'd be there in a heartbeat!
